About Us
The Lutheran Health and Development Program works to support the gospel ministry of the Lutheran Church of Central
Africa (LCCA) and the Lutheran Mission Zambia (
LMZ ). The purpose of the H&D program is to build the capacity and skills of the LCCA-Zambia members to serve and assist in the physical needs of the communities in which they live, letting the love of Christ Jesus shine through them. The two core activities of the H&D program are the Home-Based Care and Reflect Adult Literacy programs. Both of these programs focus on building the practical skills of members in order that they may participate more fully in the development of their fellow LCCA members and friends in the community.
